He can keep the sotoba transformation, but the hammerspace is not allowed upon entry. There are items that can be purchased through Elphame Rewards that allow for hammerspace options, but until he's able to purchase that, he'd have to lug his scythe around. Additionally, it would still be allowed to cut through anything unless it is protected by magic.
