I understand that multiple familiars aren't allowed, but I'm curious as to whether or there's any wriggle room with regards to say...one species of familiar (spider, in this case) that could either:
A) Have a single, larger "main" familiar that functions like a normal familiar (powers, etc) and have its own little brood (maybe 10? 5?) of smaller spiders that have basically no familiar powers/attributes and answer to the main spider as if it were a sort of queen, with a hierarchy that basically goes Matsunaga > Queen (familiar) > drones. I imagine when she isn't doing familiar things, she just has them hunt food for her or maintain their web wherever that is.
or
B) Have several spiders, all of which are Matsunaga's familiar, but their power is split between however many there are, so if one of them were matched against a normal familiar it would be easily fought off, but the whole group together would be capable of matching one in strength via numbers/cooperation.
If not, that's fine! I had originally thought of just the one spider but both of these ideas came to me and I thought I'd chance my arm in asking. Thanks!
