1. They will be brought back a second before death and healed, so they still are able to remember what happened but their body is still alive and heal-able to avoid needing to start off with a ritual. Avalon will heal them upon transportation. Though most people will be returned to the exact moment in time, perhaps characters may be able to seek a way within the game to change their fate. Only time will tell.
2. Magic works fundamentally differently in this universe than it does in canon universes and, therefore, would not affect them as it would in canon. All supernatural abilities are converted to being able to use this type of magic when the characters are brought to Avalon, so there won't be a conflict.
3. Any intentionally created physical changes like piercings, tattoos, scarring, and so on would be allowed. More extreme changes on a genetic level such as species changes or appendage growths would not. Learned abilities from other games are allowed (so if they spent time studying how to do origami or kickboxing, etc.) but supernatural abilities would all be converted into this world's version of magic, whether from canon or CRAU.
4. This is actually a question in the app! :) You're ahead of the curve! Characters can come in with 5 inventory items not including basic clothing. Characters may bring pets as 1 inventory slot. If a character carries multiple weapons, each weapon counts as 1 inventory slot. No vehicles or game-breaking items. Technology should be fine as long as it doesn't require canon- or CRAU-specific power sources that would not be available in Avalon. Internet-connected items such as game-based communicators will be able to view an offline archive of posts, photos, videos, etc. that were already present on the character's device but will not be able to connect for new updates or out-of-game communication.
For the protection of the time-paused multiverse, time/space bending items including instant transportation items will not work. Characters will need to learn to create transportation totem using in-world magic if they would like to fast-travel in-game. (Totem Recipes will be available for purchase with Rewards Points.)
If you are uncertain if a specific item would be considered game-breaking, please feel free to ask! If an inventory item is requested but not allowed because it is considered game-breaking, the mods will allow you to select another item to fill that slot if you are accepted.
